Astronomers Find a Distant Reservoir of Water

Two teams of astronomers have discovered the largest and farthest reservoir of water ever detected in the universe by humanity. The water found has an, equivalence of 140 trillion times all the water in the our planet's ocean and is surrounding and "feeding"  a black hole at a distance of  12 billion light-years approximately. This discovery sure proves that water is part of a our Universe per say and not only part of a few planets scattered around. It's known that water has surrounded us in the Milky Way, either as vapor or iced water, but NASA never expected so much water in single point as huge as that reservoir.

How can they know this from so far away?

Ragna said...

Yes. Considering the use of X-Ray and other methods, they can measure with proximity the quantities.

Next they'll find life in another close planet. Isn't going to take too long.

Just so you guys know, if we find aliens and they're like the Xenomorphs, I'm gone. Sorry. I'll be in hiding for the rest of my life. I'm not going anywhere near anything that sprung out of Giger's imagination.

If I ever were to hide from aliens, I would go to Madagascar!

If there's water out there, then there's also life.
